Geography
Pennsylvania covers nearly 50,000 square miles. There are 67 counties in the state. The highest point in Pennsylvania is Mt Davis in Somerset County at an elevation of 3,213 feet. The lowest point is the Delaware River. Over 9 million acres of land are considered farmland and over 3.5 million people live in rural areas. There are 50 natural lakes, 45,000 miles of rivers and streams and 116 state parks. The state can be divided into the following eight regions: Lake Erie, Pittsburgh, Laurel Highlands/Southern Alleghany, the Poconos, Philadelphia/Lehigh Valley, Alleghany National Forest, Hershey/Dutch Country, and Valleys of the Susquehanna.

Sites/Landmarks
The city of Philadelphia serves as one of the states most visited historical attractions. Pennsylvania's Dutch Country in Lancaster is another popular attraction and Williamsport, Pennsylvania is home to the Little League World Series. The Pocono Mountains are also a popular vacation destination.
